Strategy and investment criteria

Geographic focus

KBC Private Equity concentrates primarily on the home markets of the KBC Group, i.e. Belgium and Central and Eastern Europe. Projects in other countries, however, are not been ruled out.

KBC Private Equity has teams operating in Belgium, the Czech Republic (since 15 September 2005), Poland (likewise since 15 September 2005), the Western Balkans (since the fall 2005), Hungary (since 1 February 2006) and Romania (since 1 January 2008). The teams in Central and Eastern Europe, which can rely on support from Brussels, will also target the Slovakian markets.
